About me

I graduated as a psychologist from Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany and as a dance movement therapist from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a program recognized by the European Association of Dance Movement Therapy (EADMT) and the European Consortium for the Arts in Education (ECArTE). I’m also a fully licensed general health psychologist, graduated from the master’s degree program of University of Barcelona. I have completed the training in Mentalization-Based Treatment for Adolescents provided by Imagina Barcelona and the Anna Freud Center, UK.

I’ve had experience working in different contexts such as adolescent and adult mental health institutions (inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospitals, public mental health centers), public school, preventive social projects for children at risk of exclusion, psychological prevention and intervention for employees in high-stress environments, children with neurodiversity. Since 2020, I have focused on my private practice to do meaningful processes with my clients, offering them a direct and reliable therapeutic relationship. I strive to maintain a responsible and reflective practice through engaging in regular supervision and personal therapy.

Since 2021, I have been teaching at the Dance Movement Therapy master’s program at Autonomous University of Barcelona. I have published clinical and research papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as eating disorders, body image, depression and suicidality in adolescence, trauma and borderline personality disorder, and the subjective experience of the recent pandemic. You can find more of my writing here. I am one of the founders and editors of CITARE: Revista Española de Danza Movimiento Terapia, the first peer-reviewed scientific journal on Dance Movement Therapy in Spanish language. I am a member of Colegio Oficial de Psicólogos de Catalunya and the Spanish Association of Dance Movement Therapists.

Beyond my clinical and academic work, I regularly read, paint, and dance. These activities keep me connected to my creative energy and continually surprise me with new insights and connections.
