If you dance tango, you’ve probably noticed that dancing with each partner is different, and that each tango is a unique encounter.
Tango is a conversation between two people, two bodies, and each of us brings something different to it. In this dialogue, themes such as trust, listening, expectations, acceptance and rejection, the ability to lead and follow, relaxation, and play can emerge.
My intention is to offer a safe space based on the principles of Dance Movement Therapy to explore these themes, with the goal of increasing our bodily and relational awareness—so we can get to know ourselves better and dance in an increasingly safe and authentic way.
